Attitude Adjustment

Wow, has Emily developed a major attitude the past couple weeks. If she doesn't get something her way it is the end of the world. Any advice?? Anyone???

Cow Naming

Since Emily helped Great Grandpa and Grandma Robinson build their fence for their 3 calves, she got to name them. The only problem she had is that they are all boys. " I don't know how to name boys!" she said. I believe their names are Brownie, Blackie, and Rambo.
To bad one wasn't a girl so we could have used Freida.

Dr's Appt

I had my first Prenatal Doctor's visit on Wednesday. All is good. Just the normal exam and listening to the heartbeat. Dr Harrison suggested that I bring Emily with me next time so she can hear the heartbeat too. She is pretty excited. I maybe should have waited to tell her, now she is going to ask me about it constantly for the next month.

So It Begins

I thought I was going to get away without all the puking this time. So far I have only felt nauseous at night (when I smell meat cooking). However, this morning the throwing up began. Maybe it's only a one day thing--Yeah Right!!!

Spring Cleaning

Emily and I started cleaning her room this morning. Wow!! It has taken us an hour to go through her toy box, find the floor under her bed and to clean her closet. Right now it's break time. Then it's dusting time....Wish me luck, I would like to get all three bedrooms upstairs done today so I can clean carpets on Wed....

The Park

Finally it's spring time!!! Emily asked if I would take her and the neighbor girl to the park today after school. I am glad we went right after school, because by the time we left there were tons of people there. Guess everyone had the same idea.

Do your pants still fit?

Lynnette called me last night and asked if my pants were getting tight yet....I said not yet, but today, they are a little snug. I guess since I was so sick when I was pregnant with Emily, I figured I better get some food in before I get sick this time. I have been grazing and grazing. So far I feel pretty good yet. I just can't eat in the evenings.

More Exciting News

Our other exciting news is Emily is not only going to be a big sister in November, but she also will have a new cousin in November. Lynnette and Kevin are expecting too. We are both due in the same week--My date is November 19 and Lynnette's is November 23....We couldn't have done better if we had planned it.

Happy Easter!

Emily and I had a busy weekend. We left Saturday morning at 8:00 to head for Sophia's Birthday party. Emily had lots of fun playing with Sophia and all of her toys. We spent the night and then got up this morning at 7:00. Emily and Sophia hunted for Easter Eggs and we hit the road back home by 8:00. We got home around 11:15, I through together a green bean casserole and headed to Kyle's sister Christie's for Easter Dinner. I am happy to say I did not over eat.....But I am so exhausted, I am thinking about going to bed here shortly. Thanks for a great weekend everyone!!

Frieda

Emily came to me the other day with a name in case she has a baby sister-->Frieda. I suggested we look through the book of baby names for something she may like better....We have been through all the girls names and it is still Frieda.

Emily is going to be a BIG SISTER

It's true -I am pregnant! Emily is so excited. She wants a baby brother and she is going to give him all the toys she doesn't play with anymore and give him her bedroom. I am due on November 19, which is her half birthday (she will turn 6 1/2 that day) so that was pretty exciting for her too.
