Look What Logan Got Today

Now I won't worry about him falling when he climbs out of bed. Thanks again for the find and delivery Caryl and Brooke!

Our Week

Nothing out of the ordinary this week. Kyle finished out racing at Alta-He ended up 2nd place. He's pretty happy with the season, considering he used 3 different cars. I think he was 22 points out of 1st place--Great Job Honey!

Emily has another week of school under her belt. So far so good. Those spelling word are hard tho.

Logan is still into everything. Kelly said he bit another little girl a couple of times this week, but I think it's because she bites him.

I've been doing my usual-work-play-cook-clean-etc. Same stuff, different week.

Shopping

Emily and I dropped Logan off at Daycare yesterday and went shopping in Sioux City. We left at 8:00, had to make a pit stop to fix a spark plug that was causing the Tahoe to chug, and were shopping by 9:40. The original plan was that she needed a couple of pairs of Capri's and I needed some new work clothes. While I found nothing, she got 2 pairs of Jeans, 3 pairs of Capri's, 2 pairs of shorts, a skirt, 6 shirts, 3 pairs of shoes, and a pair of pj's. What can I say, Old Navy was having an awesome sale! I did tell her no more clothes until Christmas.

We hit about 7 or 8 stores and I did find a few bargains for Logan too. Emily was very good, I don't think I heard a word out of her all the way home.

Oh Boy!

I am sitting in the family room this afternoon and Logan walks in. So somehow he managed to climb out of bed, and open his bedroom door. Oh my, what am I in for now???

Oceans/Worlds of Fun

Friday night Christie dropped off Braeden and picked up Logan for the weekend. Saturday 7:00 AM-Kyle, Emily, Brae and I hit the road. Just so everyone is aware--There is A LOT of road construction on I-29. When we got to Kansas City, we checked into our hotel and headed to Oceans of Fun. It was hot and there were a lot of people. Have I ever said how much I HATE waiting in lines? I DO! Emily wanted to go on everything and Braeden wanted to go on nothing. That is the way Sunday went at Worlds of Fun too, except there were not really any lines. Emily had no fear. She is 53 inches tall -there were a few rides that you had to be at least 54 inches to go on. Did I say Em has no fear? She rode those roller coasters with her hands straight up in the air (I was hanging on for dear life). And since Braeden didn't want to ride most of the rides, and someone had to stay with him, Kyle and Em would go and then Emily and I would go, so she rode most things twice. She even rode some, that we didn't want to ride, by herself.

This morning we ate breakfast and headed home. Logan was excited to see all of us and I was certainly happy to see him. Thanks Antie Christie and Grandma Caryl for watching Logan!

Potty Training Already?

I think it was just a fluke....Logan spotted the potty chair in the basement this afternoon. He pointed to it, said "potty" then took off his shorts. I thought ok lets see what he does, so I took off his diaper. To my amazement he went. We did try it again later and nothing. That's ok-it's to soon for me-he's still my baby.

Weekend at Home

Yes, even Emily is home this weekend. Last night we, well I, went through the toys in the play room. I get rid of things much better by myself. Emily did end up saving a few items from the trash pile-but I managed to throw out quite a bit and box up 2 boxes for Goodwill. This morning was cleaning day. I actually got floors vacuumed and mopped. For some reason recently I either get mopping done or vacuuming done...never all of it at once. I don't know what we will do tomorrow-probably end up picking up again--as usual!
