I watched Devin today while Karissa was at work and I have to tell you that I get such a kick out of just watching the two of them together. Devin was already here when Logan got up this morning. To say that Logan was excited to see Devin would be an understatement. It looked as though Logan was trying to give Devin a great big hug. They play, steal toys from each other, and follow each other around. Devin has learned that he can take toys from Logan just as easily as Logan takes toys from him.
I decided to be adventurous today and took both boys and Emily to a Pumpkin Hunt today. Everything was going OK, but I am sure glad that Aunt Christie showed up and helped me out. I don't know how people with twins leave there house to often--an hour was long enough for me.
I did laugh to the point of being in tears a few times today---What a great day!!!

Kyle the Babysitter
Karissa called and wanted to know if we could watch Devin on Saturday morning while she worked. I had to work too, so I asked Kyle if he could do it. He really didn't know--we ended up calling Brooke so Kyle would have a reinforcement. Everything seemed to go well, so I asked if he could watch Devin again Saturday night so Karissa could go with me to a party. He is an old pro--We came home and all the kids were in bed. Devin, of coarse, was the easy one. Logan did his usual-everything Devin has he takes. I guess Emily was a pain too. He survived!!!
The Egg
On Thursday night my boss and his wife had a get together at their house. Emily DID NOT want to go. She tried everything she could to get out of it, but once we got there she found they have dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and bunnies. I didn't see her to much--she did come in when she got hungry. I happened to be feeding Logan at the time and she asked me if I had eaten yet. I told her no, but she could go ahead and get in line. She came back and had a plate for me. Then she went back through the line and got her own food. What a thoughtful little girl I have. After we ate she went back out to play some more. She came back with an egg "which had just come out of the chicken's butt"--Jody said she could bring it home. Emily took it to school on Friday to show her teacher. At first she was going to try and hatch it, but then we decided it would be to hard to keep it warm for 6 weeks. And then we weren't going to eat it either....She told me a little while ago that she dropped it in the grass and it broke. It survived longer than I thought it would.
